School started today with a loud and boisterous march in celebration of St. Patrick’s day. The kids had a great time making music with their rhythm instruments. A treat was discovered in the pot of gold that has decorated the school this week. Each child had a chance to get a treat for each hand to take home at the end of the day.
Don’t miss the opportunity to view the school and register for
Summer Camp and Fall Programs this Thursday evening at 7PM. An overview of the music program begins in the church sanctuary at 7. After that children and their parents are invited to go room to room to participate in preschool and kindergarten activities that are typical of our daily curriculum. Registration is open to the public and we are eager for you to tour our facility and hear about the programs we offer. Please join us this Thursday evening.
Thanks to all who attended our first McTeacher Fundraising Event last night. The kids and teachers had a great time. We appreciate the support!
Pastor Paul shared a message in chapel this morning about drawing our strength from the word of God. He used the example of tree roots drawing strength from the nutrients and water in the ground. After his message the children were asked to share scripture verses they had memorized that would help them to have spiritual strength. There were a number of volunteers to share the bible verses and phrases they have learned. One of our three-year-old students shared the following: “Plant your tomatoes, so they can grow.”
