The children were able to learn a bit more about caring for their teeth today from a representative from the Du Page County Health Department. The Department offers free educational programs to promote health awareness issues and sent one of their educators out to make a visit today.
The children were encouraged to participate in a game in which they were able to choose a food that would be good for their dental health and taste good too. They quickly learned that some of their favorite treats might not be the best choice if they want to have strong healthy teeth all of their lives.
We appreciate the support and help the Du Page County Health Department gives us as we endeavor to train our students in good life style choices. Next week we are expecting another visitor, this time from Grove Dental to reinforce some of the things we learned today.
Don’t miss our OPEN HOUSE this month. You and your children can visit the school from 9-11AM on Monday February 28th. Visit the classrooms and participate with our students in the regular routine of a preschool or kindergarten morning. Enrollment information is available for our eleven week Summer Camp and all the fall programs. Don’t miss this opportunity for priority enrollment. Mention this blog article and the registration fee will be waived. Hope to see you there.
