Dora Makes A Surprise Visit
Today was the day to celebrate the end of another school year. Dora made a surprise visit to the school to greet each of the children and help us have some limbo fun.

How Low Can You Go?
Running under the beam seemed to be the most fun for the little ones. Dora danced to the beat of the music as the children had their own fun.
There were two craft projects in one classroom. Children enjoyed scratching their own design into a face mask. Removing the black wax to reveal a colorful design was a bit different technique than the children are use to.

Children Took A Lot Of Time To Make Their Mask Special.
The second craft choice was to decorate a three dimensional Angel Fish with stickers and markers. The varieties were amazing.

Hard At Work And Play
Out on the playground children were enjoying water and bubble activities. It was also nice to be able to enjoy a good weather day.

Chasing Bubbles

Fun At The Water Table
Face and arm painting was a real popular activity for the children. Thanks to many of our parent volunteers there were several designs to choose from.

A Fashion Statement For The Ladies
All that activity, root beer floats for morning snack and pizza for lunch made this day special. Our teachers want to thank the many parent helpers who made this day fun for kids and teachers as well. Happy end of the school year. Don’t forget about kindergarten graduation and preschool promotion night next Thursday at 7PM. Cookies and punch will be served after our program. Anyone can join us that evening.

All Stars Work To Clean Up Around Their School
Mrs. Munguia has been teaching her class to participate in taking care of the Earth. Her class has learned a lot about recycling and why we should do it. Today the class went outside to put their knowledge into practice. Donning rubber gloves the eager students collected debris from the school area. The collected materials were then graphed on a big floor graph in the classroom. The children were able to tell that plastic was the most collected and glass the least. They found many things made of paper and discussed that they should reuse paper, so that more trees do not have to be cut down. (The kid’s are in my office enthusiastically dictating this story).
